What can Rewild offer?

At Rewild we are dedicated to providing opportunities for as many young people as possible to explore their wild side, connect with nature and re-engage with their education. Therefore, we offer a wide range of different services to ensure the impact we have is as big as possible.

Rewild services at a glance:

Bushcraft activity days

Full and half day bushcraft experiences for KS2, 3 and 4 students that immerse them in nature, challenge their thinking and Rewild their mind.

Small group intervention programmes

Bespoke 4-8 week long intervention programmes designed to re-engage disaffected KS3 and KS4 students in mainstream education.

Bushcraft Activity Days

Rewild is all about inspiring young people through the power of adventure and connection to the great outdoors.

Our Bushcraft Activity Days are half and full day sessions where students can come and learn how to survive in the wild. Within this, students will be developing some key skills such as team work, resilience, leadership and problem solving skills.

During the session, students will work together to escape the forest after they were unexpectedly stranded there. As with classic escape rooms, but with an adventurous twist, those involved will need to work effectively as a team to find their way to safety.

Bushcraft  Intervention
(6 week programme)

At Rewild, we understand that (despite serving most young people well) the classic, mainstream school system doesn't suit every child and some often long for something more bespoke - that's where we can help!

For those students that need something a little different, we offer a 6 week bushcraft programme, consisting of 6 x 2 hour sessions of small group support where the students will build up their toolbox of skills that will enable them to manage mainstream education more effectively.

Woodland Maintenance Intervention

(4-8 weeks programme)

Our Woodland Maintenance Intervention programme offers small groups of KS4 students an opporuntity to have a taste of life after education by getting stuck into the working life of maintaining our woodland. Each week, the students will work with us to ensure that the woodland is kept safe and healthy and, by doing so, develop knowledge and skills such as:

  • Practical skills such as plant and tree maintenance
  • Knowledge of the importance of sustainability and protecting the environment
  • Respect for the importance of education to ensure stability in adult life
  • Team work and communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Resiliences

As with all our interventions, the primary aim is to re-engage children in their education and support their journey through mainstream education. Find out more by downloading a brochure below:

Alternative Education

COMING SOON!

Rewild will soon be offering a full 15 hour programme of alternative provision for students who are struggling or disengaged with mainstream education. This provision will act as a short term alternative to mainstream school that will re-engage students in the education system, teach them the skills to manage education more effectively, and work closely with partner schools to reintegrate students into full time, mainstream education.
